Anyway I shall start now and warn you this is a big post. Now first things first. So the first thing is what I am currently stitching which is Red Bird Fraktur by Knotted Tree Needleart and loving every single stitching I am putting into him/her/it whatever! (all photos are clickable to make them bigger)
Now onto my birthday presents. I am sorry I am so late in writing a post about the wonderful things I received but as those of you that read my blog will know I lost my Mac last month and really don't like using this one much so my postings have been thin to say the least but I am jut going to have to get used to using a PC again like it or not.
The first thing is I received this wonderful bag from CindyF and I thought, ok mistakenly, that my initials on it were wrong. But they weren't because apparently they go First Initial, then Last Initial, the finally Middle Initial. Guess I have lived in the UK too long because here we do it first, middle then last. But hey they get the date wrong so what the heck. Not you Yanks! The Brits. They (the Brits) do it day, month, year instead of month, day year. And without further ado the gorgeous yellow bag from CindyF which I love to pieces and have used a LOT! Thank you so much Cindy!
Next on the list (and yes who was a lucky and spoiled girl/woman) came from Alice and I really loved both the chart (sideways sorry) which is Heart Alphabet and I LOVE IT and thank you so very very much and the Peacock Feather, which I thought, was unlucky, but what the heck, I don't think you can be either lucky or unlucky - I think luck is something you make yourself and anyway it is just so pretty.
Next is from the lovely Carin. So unexpected and I really love it and will stitch it soon I promise. I just want to finish some of my UFO's before ATS arrives here to be started. I will stitch this one in between ATS and HOHRH.
And last of my Birthday Presents but by no means least came this other unexpected package from Pokua in Australia. I just love her stitching and finishing to pieces. I have entered so many of her giveaways and never won but this time I received these from her without having to enter anything. I am just so grateful and yes Pokua I will be sending you something for your birthday but it will be a tad late, sorry. I had this chart on my Wish List from the very beginning of my Wish List and just love it and thank you so much for both. I love the little pinkeep to pieces and the chart, well what more can I say? Not a lot.
This is just a please be happy Patti after you Mac was stolen present from my great friend Carol (no blog sorry - come on Carol do it already) who I love to pieces. I met her as a Sampler Guild get-together about 18 months ago or so and we just clicked. You know how that happens sometimes well we just did and have become firm friends ever since. So thank you so very very much Carol you are a treasure (sorry about the sideways picture).

This is the bookmark and goodies I received from Verona de Jong who resides in the Netherlands. I love it and thank you very very much both for the bookmark and goodies you enclosed.
And lastly for exchanges because I can't show you the one I did for the Prairie Schooler Exchange because it definitely hasn't been received yet as I only (ok DH did it) mailed it today. But here is the one I received from Lynn B and it was wrapped beautifully and she even made the card which was gorgeous and the little pillow is just gorgeous and is up on my little mantelpiece (ok it's the top of my little fire)and all my lovelies on my little firetop (ok so that is what it really is)
Finally I entered CarolR's giveawy. Now there were three scissor fobs to be won. The first name out of the hat got the choice of all three which included the two I am about to show you and the third one which was a mystery fob.
plus the mystery fob. Now all of you that read my blog know I am hopeless at making up my mind. Ok I would be really hopeless if I could find it, my mind that is. I know it's somewhere but g-d only knows where I have mislaid it. Anyway the choice was either one of these or the Mystery Fob and not being able to make up my mind I chose the Mystery Fob and boy was I ever right. Now these two above are really lovely but just look at what I got!It is made entirely of Swarowski crystals and is just to die for literally. When I opened it up this morning I really thought I had died and gone to heaven.
I have never had such a mixed month in my whole life. One of great sadness over my computer, yeah I know there is lots more to be sad about that are much more important but .... and then the great joy at all you wonderful stitchers I have met through this blog of mine.
Thank you all so much for everything I really do appreciate it all greatly.
Oh yeah and finally I thought that flies only lived for one day but I have one buzzing around me (and I HATE flies) for at least a week. GO HOME FLY cause I sure don't want you. BUZZ OFF!!!
So until next time ...
Lots of Love
