Okay number one I received a few weeks ago a Threadkeeper from a Threadkeeper Exchange organised by BeckyB and here it is, and isn't it just lovely
Unfortunately I can't find the email I wrote to the
wonderful woman who stitched and finished this for me
but I really love it
Then there is this:
I was in an Exchange organised by Mayte
which was a Christmas Ornament Exchange and
this came all the way from Mexico and was made by
Oli and it is just gorgeous and this is the package as it arrived and
below is the front and then the back
This is the front of the ornament and ...
This is the back and it was
finished beautifully.
Then there is:
This is the back of the Quaker Quarterly Exchange XXI
from the Legacy Board that I received from Linda
and this is the front. Isn't it gorgeous. The stitching and
finishing are just superb. I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!
and finally insofar as exchanges are concerned I received:
This is the Blackbird Design exchange I
received from Jennifer M
And this is a side view of it showing that
it is made into a stand-up
FINALLY I am ready to let you into my newest addiction. I am trying to teach myself how to quilt. I love the idea of quilting and I love so many of the quilts I have seen and I really want to be able to quilt properly. My only problem is the standing one and the cutting, but they have another way of quilting in America called paper-piecing, and I am going to give that a try first, if that doesn't work successfully then I am going to try using templates and in the meantime I shall save up for the thing I want most in the world right now which would solve all my problems and that is this:
So in the meantime before I can get one of these I am going to be using:
for my first foray into quilting. I shall be making a cushion
out of this Charm Pack and backing fabric
which is from the same range.
AND I have a brand spanking NEW Blog and it is called P.S. I Want To Quilt Too. So come on over sometime and have a look because I promise I shall be making some goodies there too.
So until next time ...
Lots of Love Patti xxxNobody can make you feel inferior without your permission - Eleanor Roosevelt

Hoping your family has a wonderful Christmas~~~ Faye
Such lovelies you've received! Love them all! I think all us quilters would love one of those Accuquilt go thingies. I want one too. Sigh. Hope your quilting ventures go well!
Congrats on the beautiful gifts !!
I too am really wanting an Accuquilt Go Cutter - I hear it is a wonderful tool
Merry Christmas :)
Such wonderful gifts you have received!!!! Congratulations!!!!
I totally want an Accuquilt Go Cutter!!!! That will make life so much easier!!!! Love to see your quilts in the near future!!!
Lucky you to get such great gifts! I'm also a crossstitcher who made the move into quilting a few years ago. I find that I don't fall asleep when I quilt at night since I'm moving between the cutting board, the ironing board and my machine. But if I sit down on the couch to sew, I'm usually yawning within minutes! Will be looking forward to seeing what you make.
Great exchanges you received. Good luck with the quilting - I love quilting, will pop over to your new blog sometime this week.
Happy Holidays.
Great goodies!
All your exchanges are lovely, Patti!
Good luck with quilting. I love visiting quilting stores, but I haven't been bitten by the quilting bug (yet)...
Love all the goodies, Patti!!
Yeay for you on the quilting! It's a lot of fun. I have been neglecting my hexies and need to get back to them. Aren't charm packs so fun? I could easily form an addiction to them. I'd love a GO! cutter, too.
Wonderful exchanges! Sounds like you've found one more interesting hobby.
Happy holidays to you and your family!
Great exchange goodies, Patti! I wish you great success into your quilting foray! I love quilts, just don't love the idea of making one.... I'll enjoy watching you learn the craft!
Patti, I'm so happy the ornament from Olivia got safety to your hands.
All the exchanges pieces are just great and your new hobby is so addictive that I'm sure you will have many wonderful pieces to share with us.
Happy holidays :)
I have a GO and love it, so good luck with your quilting.

Merry Christmas Patti!
Beautiful gifts Patti.
Best wishes for this Christmas season.

What gorgeous goodies you've been receiving Patti! Looking forward to following your quilting exploits. I love everything about quilting, dabbled in it years before I started cross stitching but so far I have resisted the temptation to pick up the cutter again!
What a wonderful circle of friends. Your Charm pack selection is very pretty for your first quilt too!
Hi Patti what beautiful things you show us here! I see you've also changed the photo blog !!!!! I wish you and your entire family happy holidays! Love peace serenity and joy just for you my friend
